I may or may not understand, the overal picture, is that for me anyway. What you say to us, paints a picture of the strength, weakness (in this case) of your overal authority and ability to cope, with the stress and pressures of managing people, a business, this is crucial to the effective future on DA. My reaction was to the 'attitude' of your journal, which gave a reflection of you've had enough of the guys who support DA, even if their attention seeking is genuine or not! Which, to me transposes an image, 'I got my bit what the f*** do I care, let them sort it out themselves'. To quote Richard Branson: - a good business is based on the premise that, You look after your staff, your staff look after your clients, your clients look after you! So simple, and it works, were Mr Branson to comment as you did, he may no have any clients, empires do tumble. We do not want to know about numerics! your problems, unfortunately, we are the clients! We pay our dues, then cheer when you do good, Shout when you don't, remember the client is always right (even when he's wrong) simple business ethics. Just run the show correctly, give us the security we need, then defend us from the offenders! DON'T WINGE (thats the the perogative of us Brits )

A good portion of the reason that our CEA team (formerly PVA) team gets all this bad P.R. is because we're asked to mediate between users, about the most miniscule events, which as you may realise, is very time consuming, a bit like a thousand people asking for directions of a police office, when a rape is actually taking place behind him! We would really like to be shinning stars to you all, but we ask you please think twice, 'do I delete and ignore or is this really serious incident' So often the incident will fade away if deleted and ignored!

'This person said mean things to me', 'this person is harrassing me', 'this person called me a child molester'. Look we do really care, but, we do not have the time to sort out minor accusations, you must realise this, use the DELETION soon to be in your control.

So here's the deal, we'll get you guys the abiity to "ban" people from posting on your user page, your journal, and your deviations. We have more time to plan for the future and run the whole show more effectively!

We know we are often going to end up being the bad guys, we have to make the discissions! but we do realise this is the real world, we can take that, but you can help us! Use the tools we are going to give you.

We need to concentrate on the real problems out there, the illegal ones, the ones that you all fear, in future, we hope you will see, not experience, that we are not prepared to tollerate, many of the obsenities and the abuse, that the rest of our society is willing to let go, your right we are not going to turn our heads! But we need your help, use the DELETE button!
