The tour is going great so far, and you never know with these things so we've been lucky. The only major frustration has been with Vodafone who choose not to recognize our phone credits or take responsibility for error. Vodafone doesn't own its retail outlets in Australia, hundreds of little companies do and if you buy a credit from one place they won't refund you in another. And of course, customer service is closed on Sundays.

Well it's a good thing we're so far ahead of the world around here, as it's already Monday at 11am right now! So I'll take care of this pronto after I post this journal.

We're considering giving out the phone number to everyone.. what do you think about that idea?

And lastly, $Heidi is hilarious. I'm really enjoying the fact that she's never been outside of the country before. She's seen 30 of the 50 United States! She's been to Hawaii which has a distinctly different culture than most of America. But outside to a place where a different language is spoken? This Southern California Orange County girl hasn't seen Mexico which is about a hundred miles away let alone Australia, or the 10 other international destinations we're going to hit within the next 40 days....

Funniest bit thus far?

You know, in most parts of the world, they serve fish *with* the head still on. And the bones, too.
