Chrome penetrates 2% of deviantART

Google's new web browser, Chrome, was used by 2.03% of the 2.5M visitors to access deviantART.com on September 3rd, 2008.

Pretty remarkable market penetration for the one day this thing has been accessible to the public.

In other news, I'm not sure if you guys are aware that there are 2.5 million visits to deviantART every day.

Lots of people like art.

2% of them now use Chrome! :P

Except me, since, I flicked PC's off :finger: a while ago and the Mac version isn't available yet. :P

I tried Chrome, I liked it but I missed all my extensions from Firefox. So for now I'm stickin' with the Fox ;)

I like some of the concept behind Chrome, but not all of it.
Conceptually the tabs on top don't make sense to me. It feels disjointed from typical browsing behavior and understanding.

Also odd that they chose to make it blue instead of a neutral color.

Chrome just stopped loading for me for no reason. I think someone may have deleted half of it by accident :O

I'm one of those 2% :aww:

tho, it works funny with the news page and some particular buttons, so I'm back to firefox when I don't need the speed...

I mainly use chrome to clean the deviations from my message centre! :giggle: it's fast!!!

I agree about tabs - I think they looked bizarre and reminds me of opera... beside I already had uninstalled it - it crashed soon after using...
