I got a idea! How about if you are under thirteen here -~- I believe that if you enter your age on the dA signup form as under 13, instead of completely not allowing you to register they should give you a 50-day maturity test where you will be watched closely by admins (they will not inform you of this, so you won't even know it's a test and you won't fake your maturity). To pass, you must not steal art, you can't lie and you can't make immature comments. Stealing art, lying and making immature comments will cause you to fail the test.

I didn't make this idea--I copied and pasted from WarriorcatsandPonies comment on a poll about deviantarts age limits :)

:hmm: Hmm, is this a good spot to request, er, rather beg for a new feature? :?:
I'll take my chances; please see disclaimer below if it isn't. :-)
What would really make my life easier, in descending order, would be:
a) A search feature that only searches my Notes.
b) The ability to bulk-export all of my Notes to a flat-file allowing me to search using a tool of my choosing.
c) Some other bright and imaginative way of organizing Notes by specific conversation, years after the fact...
Whaddaya think?

Hi, Is it possible for Deviant Art to make a book of every Artist work? i.e. each artist has their own book of Art?
Deviant Art could print and sell the books, at a profit, and the artist gets ? 15%  ?
Just wondered?

Thanks from Kali

BIG DEVIANT ART FAN!!!

That's a great thought!

We'll think about it, there's a lot going on at the moment so it's unlikely this year.

Meanwhile, thanks for being a fan and supporting us. That means the world.

Best,

An idea has recently been brought to my attention, and I promised I'd pass it along: allowing browsing of least popular deviations.

I've thought, for a while, that it might be cool to have a 'like/dislike' function installed on comments - kind of like youtube. But maybe with a badge that went along with every 100 'likes' on comments that a deviant got? It would be neat to encourage more positive interaction - and I think it would strengthen the community in general and decrease the incidence of negative comments :)

That is kind of a good idea, but I worry it would generate a lot of unwanted drama. :( Some really well-reasoned and positive comments might just get a ton of "dislikes" because unreasonable people don't stop to think before reacting. The same goes for the potential for a lot of "likes" on irrationally negative comments.

Besides which, I'd rather not turn dA into a comment war. :| I'd like to keep the focus on the art.
