You really get the feeling of being ready to take off, here. You have half of that view, plus the sun nicely captured but well-contained, and there's a lot of potential energy here, waiting to be released. I like the series, so far.

2200 feet above ground level, 3500 feet above sea level on this flight. But typically these gliders can easily reach 17,000-24,500 feet!

you lose the sense of speed when you do that.

next time, try flying only ten to twenty feet from the ground, that way you gain a sense of speed as youre flying.

It's a nice sequence of photos... I've always wanted to hang glide, but I think I'd rather go skydiving. Looks like fun! It's cool how those turned out sort of purple too, it looks good.
