dArama - ISSUE ONE - Love.

The dynamic between core staff, volunteer staff, and the community can at times be pure quality dArama.

It's worth noting that for years I've worked pretty hard to remain neutral on community politics. Today, I'm going to shatter that concept.

Needless to say, I am extremely politically aware of the inner workings of the deviantART community. I read *a lot* of journals, comments, forums, chat rooms. I have fake accounts. I spy.

But I don't spend my time talking politics, instead I focus internally at deviantART designing technologies and implementing understandings with core staff to address the issues I see pop up.

Taken with my canon digital rebel with a tamron 18-200MM lens and a polarized lens.

I did increase the contrast a slight bit, but that's about all.

This used to be the home of a sheep hearder in Greece. He, his wife and four kids lived in the main room. Off to the right you can just see the enclosed area where the sheep were housed at night and when they weren't grazing so that they were safe.

How close the sheep lived to the people indicates just how valuable the sheep were in those days and to those people. But no matter how rough life seems; look around. How rough could it have really been!

I hiked to a place very much like this on Madonna Mtn. and was think, "whoa! you've been to SLO, CA?" but yeah. nevermind. XP the one in SLO is creepy because there are no windows or doors. and i heard running water inside. my curiosity next to killed me! argh. personally...i would love living in a place like that. with my computer and drawing supplies, of course. when i was little it was my dream to one day live in a broken down old shack. the rest of my family has always thought i was weird...
i'm guessing this is just a snapshot. still. landscape pictures look best if you expose them a little longer. or for digital...adjust the midtones a little darker.

nice idea but not much as far as contrast of dynamic lighting or color
seems veyr muted maybe your idea but if so its not muted enough
its also all too purple for me
