Focused on his ear, and not his eyes where I wanted but ... using a Leica is new to me.

That M9 is......... just very nice. I'm not sure if it's the M9 or just the feeling of shooting with a Leica, I just love how focusing works and how the snap doesn't close the shutter on you and you're left in the moment memorizing the snap you took. I think it's mostly a gift to the photographer and not necessarily the end viewer of the photograph since you're left with a more vivid image of your own snap becuase you were permitted to experience the shot without the shutter blinding you.
Anyway, for $8k I think I'll hold off and leave these toys to the pros. But I certainly felt like hugging the thing.
